Cozy Retreat
This Maple Valley home went through a complete remodel adding a new family room, garage, and master suite. The upper floor was opened up to create a beautiful great room with a cozy natural interior to compliment the natural settings through the large new windows. The new roof line allowed for vaulted ceilings and a much more spacious feel. The rustic alder cabinets compliment the rustic oak and natural slate floors. A combination of granite and other natural stones were used on the counters and backsplashes. The most intriguing
conversation piece of this home is the drinking fountain at the kitchen island for the young boys to catch a sip of water after playing. |

French Influenced
A Traditional-French influenced style was the element that pulled this kitchen together with the rest of the homes décor. The cabinets have a worn and glazed painted white finish on the perimeter accented with a worn painted black island. The counter material is a satin finished granite with a portion of the island separated by a solid surface material. The once natural stained oak floors were refinished with a warmer stain to compliment the new colors of the kitchen. The function of the kitchen was greatly improved by changing a slider to a single French door and enlarging the doorway to the dining room which allowed room to relocate the appliances and gain seating at the island. The homeowner finished the look with her own Venetian plaster on the walls. |

Eclectic Beauty
This Spanish 1920's home has beautiful arches and curves throughout. The kitchen was remodeled with style and function in mind to suite the avid cook. The cabinets were custom made glazed maple with soft curves and interior features to maximize every inch of the limited space. The counters are a natural stone on the sink side and functional butcher block surrounding the yellow AGA range. The stone counter was accented with a blue tile backsplash and the butcher block with an earthy tile with handmade Spanish accent tiles. The floor is a terra cotta tile with more of the hand painted decos in the corners. |
